Police were called to Birch Lane at around 7.15pm this evening (Wednesday). A man is receiving medical treatment after being assaulted, a GMP spokesman said.
Details of the attack or the extent of the victim's injuries have not been disclosed. It's understood that the incident happened in the car park of the Active iTRAIN.
A GMP spokesman told the M.E.N: "At 19.15 we responded to reports of an assault on Birch Lane in Dukinfield. "Officers attended and established that an adult male had been assaulted.
