Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson (born October 25, 1984), known professionally as Katy Perry, is an American singer, songwriter, and television judge. After singing in church during her childhood, she pursued a career in gospel music as a teenager.

Perry signed with Red Hill Records and released her debut studio album Katy Hudson under her birth name in 2001, which was commercially unsuccessful. She moved to Los Angeles the following year to venture into secular music after Red Hill ceased operations and she subsequently began working with producers Glen Ballard, Dr. Luke, and Max Martin.

After adopting the stage name Katy Perry and being dropped by The Island Def Jam Music Group and Columbia Records, she signed a recording contract with Capitol Records in April 2007.

Orlando Bloom
Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Copeland Bloom (born 13 January 1977) is an English actor. He made his breakthrough as the character Legolas in The Lord of the Rings film series, a role he reprised in The Hobbit film series. He gained further acclaim by appearing in epic fantasy, historical, and adventure films, most notably as Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Bloom subsequently established himself as a leading man in Hollywood films, with roles such as Paris in Troy (2004) and Balian de Ibelin in Kingdom of Heaven (2005). He currently stars in the Amazon Prime Video series Carnival Row (2019–present).

KATY Perry may have been taking a step back to focus on motherhood - but not for much longer, as she returns to Sin City for a long stay.

The 36-year-old will be heading to Las Vegas for residency at the theatre inside the brand new Resorts World resort casino. Mom-of-one Katy, who gave birth to daughter Daisy Dove with actor Orlando Bloom last August, is back working.

The American Idol judge is reported by Billboard to start towards the end of 2021 and run through 2022 with performances. Resorts World is the first casino to be build in Las Vegas for over a decade, and the indoor stage is expected to seat 5,000 people.
