Katy Perry

Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson (born October 25, 1984), known professionally as Katy Perry, is an American singer, songwriter, and television judge. After singing in church during her childhood, she pursued a career in gospel music as a teenager.

Perry signed with Red Hill Records and released her debut studio album Katy Hudson under her birth name in 2001, which was commercially unsuccessful. She moved to Los Angeles the following year to venture into secular music after Red Hill ceased operations and she subsequently began working with producers Glen Ballard, Dr. Luke, and Max Martin.

After adopting the stage name Katy Perry and being dropped by The Island Def Jam Music Group and Columbia Records, she signed a recording contract with Capitol Records in April 2007.

Rita Sahatçiu Ora (born 26 November 1990) is an English singer, songwriter and actress. She rose to prominence in February 2012 when she featured on DJ Fresh's single "Hot Right Now", which reached number one in the UK. Her debut studio album, Ora, released in August 2012, debuted at number one in the United Kingdom. The album contained the UK number-one singles, "R.I.P." and "How We Do (Party)". Ora was the artist with the most number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2012, with three singles reaching the top position.

Katy Perry shared the sex of her and Orlando Bloom's baby with a sweet snapshot from their gender reveal celebration late Friday night (April 3).In the photo, Perry's fiancé and the dad-to-be of "BabyCat" is all smiles, his face completely and totally covered in smears of pink frosting.

The Instagram post quickly amassed over 2 million likes, and a few famous friends, including Dua Lipa, Rita Ora and Zoe Saldana, hopped in the comments to congratulate Perry and Bloom.The news is a wish come true for Perry, who told the crowd at the Women's Cricket World Cup Final in Melbourne, Australia earlier this month that she was hoping for a baby girl.Check out Perry's announcement below.
