justjared.comThe CW has made the decision to cancel Katy Keene after just one season on the network. Fans shouldn’t give up hope just yet though because Deadline reports that the studio behind the show, Warner Bros.
Television, is looking for a new home for the show. It’s being reported that the best bet is HBO Max as the show already has a streaming deal with the service.
The network had previously extended options on the cast to July 31, so that gives WBTV a full month to find a new network for the show.
After that date, the cast has the option of looking for new jobs. Katy Keene was a spinoff of the beloved Riverdale series. The show followed the lives and loves of four iconic Archie Comics characters — fashion legend-to-be Katy Keene (Lucy Hale),
