The group’s statement today said: “Tom has struggled with personal issues that have affected his behaviour for quite some time and now wants to concentrate all his energies on getting his life back on track.” It said the split was “by mutual consent.” The singer, 39, is due to appear before Leicester magistrates over the domestic assault accusation.
A source said: “The guys all love Tom dearly, but the current situation is untenable. Sadly parting ways for the time being was the only answer.” Meighan sent his fans a personal message saying: “Following today’s announcement I just wanted to let you.
