Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp believes he had an easier start to life at Anfield than Erik ten Hag has had at Manchester United.
Comparisons have been made with the German’s Merseyside revival and the task Ten Hag has on his hands at Old Trafford. Klopp took over a struggling Liverpool outfit in 2015 and transformed them into one of the world’s best club sides.
In his seven years, he has won every major trophy available to him including the coveted maiden Premier League title in 2020.
United are hoping Ten Hag can be the manager to guide them back to such heights in time, having not won a trophy in five years and a league title in nine.
