Jordan North has said he’s “in agony” on the final day of his Comic Relief challenge which will see him row 100 miles from London to his home town of Burnley. The former I’m A Celebrity campmate began his challenge on Monday 28 February, and is completing the final 23 miles today.

Jordan’s efforts have so far raised an impressive £600,000 Comic Relief. Sharing BBC Radio 1's video of him rowing earlier today, Jordan admitted that he was "in agony" but remained "determined" to carry on.

Opening up about his penultimate day of rowing on Instagram yesterday, Thursday 3 March, Jordan, 32, thanked everyone for their support while opening up about how mentally and physically gruelling its been for him. “DAY FOUR #ROWINGHOME for @comicrelief,” his post began. “Broken.

Physically, mentally and emotionally broken!” He continued: “I didn’t want to get in the boat this morning and row another 23 miles, but with all your support, love, and donations you helped me get through it. “Thank you so so much for helping raise over £280,000 so far!!!!!” Yesterday appeared to be a particularly difficult day for Jordan amid the challenge, as he described it as “soul destroying”.
