Olivia Newton-John died Monday morning surrounded by family and friends at her Southern California ranch following a long battle with cancer.“Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer,” her family wrote in a statement posted on her official Facebook page. “Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer.”Upon her death, her family is asking that people donate to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund instead of sending flowers.
The last photo seen of the actress was posted by her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, on Instagram on Aug 5.“I worship this woman. My mother.
My best friend,” Lattanzi wrote. Quickly after the news broke on Monday, John’s “Grease” co-star John Travolta made a statement on his Instagram.
