Jodie Comer to star in a powerful COVID drama on Channel 4

Jodie Comer is coming to our screens for a hard hitting COVID drama on Channel 4 next year. The new drama titled Help is inspired by the real-life struggles of care workers fighting to keep their patients alive during the pandemic which will be very different to the role in Killing Eve that made her famous.

As it is set in a fictional Liverpool care home, Comer will be finally able to make use of her native-Mancunian accent which many people forget she has.

Jodie will take on the role of Sarah, a young carer who forges a very real bond with Tony (Stephen Graham), a 47-year-old with Young Onset Alzheimer’s.
