Jeopardy! fans were left saying, “Thank u, next,” this week to Alwin Hui, of Washington D.C., after the hopeful confused Ariana Grande for Janet Jackson in a category that quizzed contestants on the Billboard Music Awards.Hui was first to buzz in for $800 after Trebek read the clue, “As the recipient of the 2018 Icon Award, she took ‘control’ and took to the stage in her first live TV performance in nearly a decade.”Trebek also played a clip from the awards broadcast showing Jackson performing her 1986 hit Control.But Hui clearly didn’t know who she was.
