Jensen Ackles is preparing himself for an emotional roller coaster. The 42-year-old actor took to Instagram to reveal that they will be filming the series finale for Supernatural this Friday, September 4th. “So last night we completed 326 episodes of Supernatural.

And at the very end of every one of those scripts are three words: ‘To be continued.’ Today we start No. 327 and at the very bottom of the very last page of this script, there are only two words…” A choked up Jensen said while holding up a script page that had “The End” written on it. Jensen and co-star Jared Padalecki recently returned to Vancouver to resume production on the final two episodes of the 15th and final season of Supernatural, which was cut short due to pandemic.
