I'M A Celebrity 2020 will go ahead despite Wales being plunged into a 'fire break' national lockdown. The series, which has been relocated to Gwrych Castle, appeared to be hanging in the balance as Wales toughened its response to the growing surge in coronavirus cases.

First Minister Mark Drakeford yesterday announced that from Friday people in Wales will be forced told to stay at home until November 9.

But the official Twitter account for the historic castle has reassured fans that the series will happen. It wrote: "Following the announcement today from the First Minister, the overriding message is that filming CAN continue in Wales providing related activity cannot be undertaken from home, and there is full compliance with Welsh law.
