dailyrecord.co.ukAyrshire later this eveningThe Met Office put a yellow weather warning for rain in place for midnight this evening.Experts say the weather front — which is expected to extend into East and South Ayrshire — could last until 12 noon on Wednesday.And the forecasters have also said there is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.The warning reads: "Persistent, and at times heavy rain, will develop across Northern Ireland, southern Scotland and the far north of England during Monday night."Rainfall accumulations of 20-30 mm are expected quite widely and some places, mostly over higher ground, could see 30-50 mm rain."This wet weather will clear eastwards early on Wednesday."Later on Tuesday.
