Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Hearts fans are set to pay tribute to youngster Rudi Abbott, who tragically passed away last week following a brave battle with cancer.

The eight-year-old, who was a huge fan of the club, was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour, a pineoblastoma, in 2020, and had undergone three years of treatment.

However, in a devastating announcement on Friday January 6, Rudi's family confirmed that the young boy had passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones, reports Edinburgh Live.

Described as a "wee warrior", tributes have poured in for Rudi from across the local community, with many having previously backed the 'Rally for Rudi' campaign, which saw over £110,000 raised to fund his treatment in the US.Having been Hearts-daft his whole life, supporters recently announced they were planning to pay their respects to Rudi at the club's fixture against St Mirren on Friday January 13.A minute's applause has been organised for the eighth minute of the game, which will be played at Tynecastle, to honour the boy.Responding to the plans, Rudi's family praised the planned tribute on social media, saying it was a "great idea", and that "Rudi will be well chuffed." The game will kick off at 7.45pm.Speaking online, Rudi's family also confirmed that a small private funeral will be taking place next week, and urged anyone who wishes to to make a donation to The Brain Tumour Charity.
