TheFederal Aviation Administration is investigating an April 24 incidentat theHawthorne Airport in Los Angeles where Harrison Ford, piloting a small plane, crossed a runway where another aircraft was departing.
There was no danger of a crash. Ford's Aviat A-1C Husky crossed the western end of the runway while another aircraft was taking off approximately 3,600 feet to the east. "The FAA is investigating an incident in which the pilot of an Aviat Husky taxied across the runway at Hawthorne Municipal Airport Friday afternoon while another aircraft was performing a touch-and-go landing," an FAA spokesman said in an emailed statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
