Greater Manchester came together tonight for what could be the last Clap for Carers tribute. From Ramsbottom to Romiley, households have stood on their doorsteps and streets to honour NHS and care workers with applause, and banging pots and pans, at 8pm on Thursdays.

Tonight's tribute was the tenth since the coronavirus pandemic lockdown was put in force - and it could be the last. Yet despite the uncertainty, residents across the region joined forces once more in praise of our hero health
