The great-granddaughter of the Duchess of Argyll has launched her own business, inheriting her infamous relative’s love for interior design.

Lady Eliza Manners never met the woman branded the Dirty Duchess and whose cruel and very public 1963 divorce from the Duke is depicted in hit interior design drama A Very British Scandal.

But there’s little doubt that heiress Margaret Campbell, who used her family’s money to decorate and restore Inveraray Castle on the shores of Loch Fyne, would have approved.
