GRAHAM Norton has joked he'll "forget" to turn up for his new Sunday morning show on Virgin Radio - after years of only working on Saturdays.

The 57-year-old quit the BBC after ten years on Radio Two - and is now taking on two weekend shows. Talking to Breakfast Show presenter Chris Evans about picking up an extra shift, Graham laughed: “Even I keep forgetting about the Sunday show.

I hope I show up. "I was in the supermarket yesterday looking at avocados thinking ‘ooh, that’d be nice on Sunday mor… oh, no!’ “The show to listen to is Sunday, because if everything goes alright on Saturday I’ll be really over confident on Sunday." His new schedule puts an end to any late-night Saturday night drinking for the presenter, admits Graham.
