Gordon Ramsay’s pricey London restaurant has huge losses of £15million as diners slam ‘small’ portions

GORDON Ramsay's pricey York & Albany restaurant has racked up huge losses totalling £15million over the past 12 years, latest accounts reveal.

The London restaurant and hotel has proven a costly investment for Gordon since its opening in 2008. Last year alone, the fancy eatery lost £550,000, well before the coronavirus decimated the hospitality industry.

It has an annual wage bill just shy of £900,000 for its 44 staff. York & Albany was the second of Gordon's London restaurants to reopen after he was forced to temporarily shut the doors to his businesses in March as lockdown kicked in.
