Henderson's return to Old Trafford after two seasons at Sheffield United, coupled with a new five-year deal, had raised questions over who would start in between the sticks against Crystal Palace.
Solskjaer, though, stuck with De Gea for United's first Premier League outing of the season, with Henderson among the substitutes.
