Tesco shoppers are discovering an in store feature that allows them to pick up free food. Most shoppers haven't realised that they can sign up to a food sharing app that will distribute yellow sticker food for free in an effort to minimalise food waste.The Olio app has this year saved 5.6 million meals from going to waste at Tesco stores.
One shopper reported picking up a wide selection of veg like Butternut Squash, root medley bags, Swede and Parsnips. Shoppers have been praising the partnership that has benefited 72,000 people and that's with it flying under the radar of other shoppers who have not even noticed.
