Earlier this week, the Music Venue Trust told NME that they were in need of £1million in donations to save grassroots music spaces and prevent “a disaster that will last 10 years”.
This follows the nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus and Prime Minister Boris Johnson calling for pubs, bars clubs, restaurants and the like to close in the name of public safety.
