Jimmy Kimmel
James Christian Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC on January 26, 2003 at Hollywood Masonic Temple in Hollywood, California; and on April 1, 2019, at a secondary home, the Zappos Theater on the Las Vegas Strip. Kimmel hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 and 2016, and the Academy Awards in 2017 and 2018.

Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the awards for the third time. Even upon announcing his return, though, Kimmel appeared to be just as confused as anyone what the job actually entails this year, writing in a tweet, "I don't know where we will do this or how we will do this or even why we are doing this, but we are doing it and I am hosting it."  As uncertain as the event details might be, though, we feel sure that TV's biggest night is going to look a lot different this year, and  we'll have to stay tuned to find out what exactly that means.
