The singer lost her mother, Jean, over two decades ago in November 1999, while her father Gerry passed away in 2015. Remembering their final days, she praised the health care workers who went above beyond ‘showing love’ to their patients in their final moments.
The musical icon told the Irish Mail on Sunday: ‘My mammy and daddy died quite suddenly. There was no need for palliative care.
