Emergency services rushed to the smash outside Tesco Extra, in Central Park Way, at about 2.30pm on Tuesday (June 15). Police say a car collided with a steel structure. A woman in her 90s was taken to hospital where she later died from her injuries. Firefighters were called to the scene, next to a roundabout on the approach to the supermarket, and helped rescue the woman from inside the vehicle.
