Today, Ugandan rapper and activist Ecko Bazz drops his new album Mmaso. A feverish and entirely gripping vision of post-industrial rap, Mmaso harnesses the fire-and-brimstone presence of Saul Williams with the grim, gunmetal sonics of Kanye West's Yeezus and latter-day The Bug.

To get you started on your initiation to Bazz's world, The FADER is premiering his new music video for "Mugulu E'yo." The song begins as a funereal dub with a distant gong and anxious traces of drum fills before its explosion with Bazz's kinetic presence.
