thesun.co.ukEASTENDERS fans left were shocked at a MAJOR medical blunder in Chelsea Fox's hospital scene on Friday's episode. The new mum - who is played by actress Zaraah Abrahams in the BBC soap - has been suffering from depression over controlling killer husband Gray Atkins.
He has manipulated her into not taking anti-depressants - playing on her vulnerability as a new mum. In the latest instalment, Chelsea had a heart-to-heart with a nurse at the hospital while looking after her fragile son Jordon with serial killer Gray.
Chelsea was baffled that the nurse recognised Gray from when he used to come in with murdered wife Chantelle. Viewers will recall that Chantelle was previously given some advice and a leaflet about domestic abuse from the nurse on one of her hospital visits.
The nurse was horrified to learn that Chantelle had died and disclosed to Chelsea that she knew Gray's first wife. As the nurse recounted Chantelle’s domestic abuse injury from a visit to the hospital, EastEnders fans were quick to point out the apparent breach of patient confidentiality in telling Chelsea.
