More boredom relief is on the way. Disney announced Thursday that it will release its new films “The Call of the Wild” and “Downhill” on paid streaming platforms starting Friday, March 27, just over a month after they first hit theaters. “The Call of the Wild” is a family drama starring Harrison Ford, based on the Jack London novel about a kidnapped house dog who learns to embrace his natural roots. “Downhill” stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell as a married couple whose relationship gets tested on a European ski trip.
Both will go on sale on platforms such as Amazon and iTunes for slightly cheaper prices than the standard $19.99. “Call of the Wild” will cost $14.99 and “Downhill” will go for $9.99.
