dailyrecord.co.ukMORE NEWS FROM THE PAISLEY DAILY EXPRESSThe woman says she feels “let down” by Renfrewshire Council after discovering the three drains on the road outside their home were blocked.She added: “The council had done nothing about the drains and this is what has happened.“We have been told we will be in a hotel for a month and we will have to then stay in rented accommodation for seven months minimum.“But it could all have been prevented from being as bad as it was if the drains were clear.“The fire service made clear that it was the drains which resulted in the flooding being as bad as it was.”Residents in Paisley’s west end were also forced to take matters into their own hands after discovering drains were blocked, which, again, was blamed on.
