Covid-19.The definition now refers to a close contact as anyone who has been within two metres of someone for more than 15 minutes, whether in a single period or cumulatively during the course of one day.Previously the definition was just a single period of 15 minutes of close contact.And according to the government: "If you have been informed that you are a contact of a person who has had a positive PCR test result for Covid-19 , you must stay at home and complete 10 full days isolation."Your isolation period includes the date of your last contact with them and the next 10 full days."Your household does not need to self-isolate with you if you do not have symptoms of Covid-19, but they should take extra care to follow the guidance on.
