Corrupt port worker caught with £178,000 cocaine stash in his BMW

The 30-year-old was found with a black rucksack on the back seat of his BMW, which contained around 2.25 kilos of cocaine worth around £178,000.

Police images show one of the cocaine blocks had been branded with the distinctive 'Alquimista' logo, meaning alchemist in Spanish and Portuguese.

Humberside Police officers also found £3,000 cash in his glove box. Whitby, a dad-of-two, had been under surveillance by the National Crime Agency (NCA).Before his arrest investigators had spotted him leaving home in New Waltham, Lincolnshire, with the black rucksack as he headed to.
