Coronation Street fans are wary of a new character on the cobbles after witnessing what they think was 'inappropriate' behaviour.

Hearts went out to Jenny Connor on Monday night's Corrie as she grieved for her estranged husband Johnny after he drowned in a storm drain last week.

A devastated Jenny, played by Sally Ann Matthews, wept as she listened to music and drank alone in the Rovers Return as remembered the man she had loved.
