CORONATION Street's Yasmeen Nazir's attempted murder trial is in jeopardy after the soap banned location shoots. The abuse survivor - who is played by actress Shelley King in the ITV soap - is in prison awaiting trial for stabbing controlling husband Geoff Metcalfe in self-defence.
Viewers watched on screen this week as she plead not guilty - but now her trial itself is in danger with the soap unable to film in the court room on location.
Soap producer Iain revealed the show had been forced to pull all location filming with immediate effect - and re-work storylines to fit in with how they can now be filmed.
