CORONATION Street actor Alan Halsall has paid tribute to his late co-stars Jack and Vera Duckworth, saying he "wouldn't still be on the soap without them".
The 37-year-old joined the soap in 1998 as Tyrone Dobbs who moved in with the famous couple after being abandoned by his mother. "I was so lucky to be put with those two," Alan told This Morning today. "I learnt from them so much on and off screen. "I genuinely don't think I'd still be on Corrie without Bill and Liz." The actor - who is dating his former co-star Tisha Merry - said he was able to learn from the legends on the cobbles played by Bill Tarmey and Liz Dawn.
