CORONATION Street star Jennie McAlpine has revealed she was trolled online for being "fat" just days after giving birth. The actress - who plays Fiz Brown in the ITV soap - welcomed daughter Hilda in 2018 and has a son Albert, 5, with husband Chris Farr.

But Jennie, 36, has revealed that when was most vulnerable after giving birth the vile trolls wouldn't leave her alone. Asked about her experience of trolling by OK!, she said: "Yes I have.

Things like, 'you’re fat' and 'you can’t act'. When I returned from maternity leave, people wrote, 'Why has she come back?' "It’s really not nice.

Some of the comments you get on the online newspaper articles are horrid. Reading those is a road to somewhere you don’t want to be, so I stay away from them..
