CORONATION Street's Bill Roache has been spotted out for the first time in lockdown. The 88-year-old, who plays Ken Barlow on the ITV soap, has been isolating at his Cheshire home because of his age while the rest of the cast return to filming.
Bill, who is classed as higher risk from coronavirus, looked to be in good spirits as he carried some shopping inside. The beloved soap star dressed casually for the warm weather in a white shirt and blue shorts with deck shoes.
Bill, who has played Ken on Corrie since 1960, recently revealed he might have to be "written out" of the soap for a while because bosses don't want to take chances with his health by getting him back on set.
