Barry Douglas, 44, from Dundee, and his 46-year-old friend Claire Wickers snuck under a fence into a lido during a night out on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

They decided to go on the log fumes and after splashing water onto the slide, went down at speed, ultimately colliding with a barrier at the bottom which neither of them had seen.Barry collided with Claire at the bottom of the flume and bounced back off her, before passing out for a couple of hours, leaving her worried that he had died.
