While responding to a fan who asked how baby Kulture ended up looking like a mix of her sister Hennessy and her husband Offset, Cardi said that she believes it’s because her daughter has ‘chinky’ eyes like her sister and the Migos member does.
Some people use the term ‘chinky’ to describe a certain eye shape; however, the word can be hurtful to the Asian community because ‘Chink’ can be used as a racial slur.
Many people called her out on it. They even stated that although she may have not meant any harm she needs to acknowledge and educate.
