A volunteer teacher who was travelling when the coronavirus crisis began fears she might be trapped in Fiji. Sumeya Isaac went out to South East Asia in January and had been set to return to her hometown, Bury, in April.
But, with the UK on lockdown and neighbouring countries such as Australia and New Zealand closing their borders, the 22-year-old is concerned she might be stranded abroad.
Fiji currently has four confirmed cases of the coronavirus, three of which are from the same family, but with the island being so small, Miss Isaac is worried she could catch the disease.
