Britain's Got Talent star Hollie Steel looks worlds away from her appearance on the ITV show 13 years ago. The former child star was just 10 years old when she blew away the judges with her stunning rendition of Phantom of the Opera classic Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again.

Appearing on the show's 2009 edition, the youngster sang her heart out in front of Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Amanda Holden.

Despite incredible talent and a stellar singing voice, Hollie struggled with confidence being one of the youngest contestants on the show.

As a result, she even burst into tears during the show's live semi-final after forgetting the words to her song on stage. The star eventually came sixth on the popular programme, which returns this weekend in scenes that Ant and Dec said were "emotional" to film.
