Boy, 4, crashes mum's car after taking it for a 'joyride'

A bare-footed boy of four wearing pyjamas crashed his mother's car in Utrecht, police in the Dutch city have revealed. The child crashed into two parked cars and then coolly left the scene of the accident.

Police in the city described the incident in the in the suburb of Overvecht north of the city in an post on on Sunday titled 'new Max Verstappen discovered', comparing the lad to the Dutch Formula One world champion racing driver known for his aggressive style.

Describing the Saturday night incident, officers said they were called to the suburb and found the boy walking barefoot and in his pyjamas in the street following a report by a concerned by-stander.
