A boy has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged serious assault of a teenager at Kilmarnock bus station at the weekend.Police have confirmed this morning that the 16-year-old has been released on an undertaking and is set to appear at court at a later date.Cops say their enquiries into the incident are continuing after the 19-year-old victim was left with "life-long scars".Police shut down the bus station on Saturday night after an alleged disturbance involving two groups with the 19-year-old allegedly sustaining injuries at around 10.20pm.The teen was rushed Crosshouse Hospital where he was treated for serious, non-life threatening injuries.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all the local news in your
