Boy, 14, under investigation after two men injured in Rusholme 'stabbing'

A 14-year-old boy was arrested by police after they were called to reports of a stabbing on Wilmslow Road in Rusholme. The teenager was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault and robbery following the incident.

The road reopened about an hour later, with officers continuing to make enquiries at the scene. The injuries were not life threatening and the two men were released from hospital later that evening.
