Line of Duty's crack trio have reunited to grill Boris Johnson in a new spoof episode. A viral video shows Superintendent Ted Hastings, DI Steve Arnott and DI Kate Fleming of AC-12 - the main characters of the hit BBC police corruption drama - tearing into the prime minister over allegations that he and his staff partied in Downing Street during the coronavirus lockdown.
The video was created by the political campaign group Led By Donkeys, which is known for criticising the government. It was also tweeted by Line of Dury creator Jed Mercurio, who described it as "brilliant work".
The 4-minute clip shows Mr Johnson superimposed into the infamous interrogation room, where he is questioned over alleged rule-breaking.
The PM is told: "During lockdown people had to cancel their weddings, they were kept from visiting sick relatives, people couldn't gather to bury their loved ones.
