Bomb squad descend on Salford house over 'suspicious item' days after police found guns

The bomb squad was called in over a 'suspicious item' in a house in Salford tonight - a week after police founds guns in the same property during a raid.An investigation has been ongoing at the property - on the corner of Goulden Street and Alexander Street in Langworthy -since last Tuesday when it was the subject of a dawn raid.Two guns were recovered and four men arrested.One of the men has since been charged with possession of a Section 5 firearm.The other three have been bailed pending further inquiries.Counter Terrorism officers assisted but it is understood they were not leading the investigation at the time.It is unclear whether that has now changed or not.Since September 8, residents said forensics officers have been going in and.
