Bomb squad called to Scots beach twice in just 48 hours as warning issued to walkers

A bomb squad have carried out a controlled explosion after unexploded ordnance was found on a Scots beach. Emergency services were called to the scene at Barry Buddon in Angus on Saturday after a large metal item was discovered.

A team from HM Coastguard Angus and Mearns quickly arrived on scene and monitored the object until the bomb disposal team arrived.
