Blind woman exempt from wearing a mask claims Apple store refused her entry - despite her wearing exemption sticker and carrying a mobility cane

Trafford Centre shop on Monday, to seek assistance with her mobile phone. She was wearing a mask exemption sticker provided by the shopping centre, and was carrying a mobility cane with her.

The mum-of-one, from Sale, claims when she tried to enter the store for her booked appointment, she was told she couldn't enter if she didn't have a mask.

Jeanette explained she was exempt from the Government rules, but claims she was told by staff this didn't matter, due to the Apple store being 'private land.'"I have been registered blind since 2003 and have and assistance dog, a carer, and a mobility cane," Jeanette said."I went to the Apple store in the Trafford Centre as I wanted to get some tech support for my phone because I'm not sure it is.
