Blake Mills has a new album on the way, and he’s shared a new song called “Vanishing Twin” along with its music video. Mills co-wrote “Vanishing Twin” with Cass McCombs.

Check out the video, directed by Justin Daashuur Hopkins, below. Mutable Set is out May 8 via Mills’ New Deal label. It follows Mills’ 2018 instrumental album Look. “This record deals with an awareness of two things—people and experiences in life that are precious, and whatever waits down the moat for something to drop,” Blake Mills said in a statement. “I’ve seen the phrase ‘mutable set’ used to describe theater backdrops and set props, things like that.
