Unvaccinated people in Austria have been put into a nationwide lockdown by the government, in a bid to slow the fast spread of coronavirus in the country.
It means unvaccinated individuals aged 12 and above are banned from leaving their homes, except for basic activities such as working, food shopping, going for a walk – or getting jabbed.
The lockdown was imposed at midnight on Sunday 14 November. Unvaccinated people could be fined up to 1,450 euros (£1,200) if they do not adhere to the restrictions.
