Nussbaum, 46, said that’s accomplished with an immersive machine called a HOLOPORTL, a telephone booth-sized apparatus that can fit in the corner of a room and projects a life-size image of an artist while they perform elsewhere in front of a camera.“An artist can beam from wherever they are to wherever they need to be in real time,” the PORTL boss explained.
